Templates for WPMU using the subscribe form module

Hi there - I want to provide a template to my WPMU users. The template is a capture page with a “subscribe form” module. 2 questions:

  1. In order to make the template available, the form is requiring me to setup a live autoresponder. Is there any way around that? Basically, once we share the template with the users, they’ll have access to all of our aweber lists in the dropdown menu if we give them that template. Is there a way to provide the optin form without having to register an autoresponder?

  2. Is there a way to change the name of the email field? It says “Email Address” right now - I want it to say “Enter your best email address…”

Hey Matt,

You have a few options in terms of #1. First, you could just use the email address service. Second, you could create a “fake” account in one of the services. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to get around having a service selected, sorry about that!

Unfortunately, the ability to rename the fields isn’t available either at this point in time, but feel free to add that to our User Voice forum and we’ll take a look at some point.
