Hey. When I duplicate a page and edit the text the edited text is not appearing. Anyone know what is going on?
I am having the same issue with a clients website! Duplicated a page, and trying to update lots of ‘name’ instances in the text… it allows me to edit the text, but the ‘done’ button stays grey and when pressed it reverts to the version pre-edits.
I am having a similar issue. When I duplicate a page. Some elements, like HTML blocks where I insert javascript, are still shown in the page source, but I cannot reach them via beaver builder when hovering over them. Only if I click on them through the ‘outline’ tab, can I reach and edit them. In the original page there is no problem.
I contacted support and within 2 hours got an answer and a solution:
So the problem isn’t actually caused by the module being duplicated; it’s that the duplicated module no longer has a wrapper.
We’ve removed the div wrappers on basic modules in recent versions. I’ll file a bug report so our devs can check as the module should still be selectable in this case.
For now, you can re-enable the wrappers by enabling the Force Module Wrapper Divs setting under Settings > Beaver Builder > Advanced.
