Text to big on mobile display

Hi there

how do i reduce the text size just on mobiles? (small devises)

because i have my heading text which is 60px but on a mobile it looks way to big…

and also the same on images how do i add or make the image smaller for mobiles?

Hey Jason,

In the heading module settings panel under the style tab, there is a mobile structure section to where you can set a specific alignment or font size for the text. Both are set to default, but when you change them to custom, the option to adjust becomes available. Re. the images, they will resize accordingly on mobile devices.

how do i do the same using the text editor

i also tried what you suggested but the heading module Custom Font wont display the 60px that i want for the main font size

it doesn’t seem to work…

Hi Jason,

The text editor module also automatically adjusts the text column width to accommodate smaller mobile screen sizes. If using a heading within the text module, that would stick to whatever size you set it to hence recommending using the heading module for headings as you can control the mobile size.

On the heading module, you’ll need to set the font size to 60px under structure (change from default to custom under font size) and whatever custom font size you would like on mobile under mobile structure. It won’t display the font size to the mobile setting unless you resize your browser down to mobile size.

im actually viewing it on my mobile as well so i dont need to resize the browser down to mobile size.

also like i mentioned to you, ive tried what you suggested using the heading module Custom Font but it wont display the 60px that i want for the main font size and smaller for mobile.

it doesn’t seem to work…

Very interesting, it looks like the custom Dynamik settings are overriding the BB heading settings. I’ve never seen that before, but we’re certainly not Dynamik experts so there could be something awry here. I’m going to need to have one of our moderators that is an expert take a look at this. Back soon after I touch base with him.
