Any suggestions and are there any known issues/problems with updating in one go or are the updates not necessarily backward compatible?
The child theme will never update, its a blank canvas for you to maintain. If you cannot connect to the updates server either you have no valid key or your site is not allowed to make remote HTTPS connections.
Hi Pross - Thanks for your reply. So Beaver Builder charges for updates on their theme? If the child theme was built by a mystery designer many many years ago, do you know how to find the registered key number to find out about upgrade options? Thanks again
Beaver Builder charges a subscription which includes all updates plus support. If you visit the license tab in wp-admin - settings - Beaver Builder it will tell you if there is a license added there or not.
