I love Beaver Builder and have just started working with it on my live site. On a blog post, I have a one-column row that contains a widget module and a text editor module. There is too much space after the content (text editor module) compared to my posts that are not built with Page Builder. Using Chrome’s Code Inspector, I can see four empty paragraph tags AFTER the text block (not IN it, but AFTER it). I’m not sure if that is the problem, but it appears as though it is. Here is the post URL: http://www.ablewebs.com/web-design-tools-wordpress/.
The space I am concerned about is below the Microthemer banner ad.
Thanks for getting in touch! And glad you’re loving BB!
I can see it from my end but I wouldn’t be able to tell exactly what’s causing it until I can take a look at the backend. Do you mind sharing temp admin access to the site so we can check? You can use the private reply option below.
I tried copying the entire html contents of that page and pasted it on my local and I can’t see any of the extra p tags. I did try creating a new post and page on your site, pasted it there and I get the same problem. This could be caused by a 3rd party plugin you have installed. Let’s have you go through the plugin deactivation route, disable all plugins and test the Beaver Builder while reactivating each to determine if the issue is related to a 3rd party plugin.
It could also be the theme but I highly doubt that since we’ve a lot of Dynamik users here in the community and they’re not having this problem.
Interesting… it is WP Edit that is causing the problem, but not actually with Beaver Builder. The problem is between WP Edit and UberMenu. The drop-down menu in the BB Widget Module is fine when WP Edit is deactivated, but when it’s activated the menu gets messed up and that gap appears at the bottom of the page. I had previously fixed the menu by adding some negative margins to that menu bar using UberMenu’s customization option. Once I deactivated WP Edit, I was able to remove those negative margins. The menu in the Widget Module then behaved fine (and the gap disappeared). So, you can relax… it’s NOT Beaver Builder! Yay! I guess I need to talk to the UberMenu guys now.
I decided to try replacing WP Edit with TinyMCE Advanced and that worked fine. I still have all the advanced editing features in the text editor and it doesn’t affect the UberMenu the way WP Edit was.
