Trouble migrating site

I’m trying to move a site we built: dawstaging.com/realfitness to the live site: realfittexas.com and it appears that only part of the site is coming through. I real the forum threads saying I needed to do a serialized search and replace, but I’m stuck on that. It seems that there should be an easier way of launching a new site once it’s built? I’m trying to use WP Clone but that doesn’t seem to do it. I also tried just using export and import, but that duplicated the pages. A few random pages work, but that’s about it.

I was told about Backup Buddy- is that just better that WP Clone for some reason? what am I missing?

Hey DAW Digital,

It’s most likely because WP Clone doesn’t handle serialized data. BB saves the data in a serialized array, like WP does. Check the link below for more info on migrating sites.

BackupBuddy handles serialized data so it works best with BB, or site migration in general.
