Trying to Customize Theme - Received Fatal Error: Allowed memory size exhausted

Good Morning,

I am trying to customize my Beaver Builder Child Theme.
Here are the steps that I am following if you would like to recreate the issue on your side:

  1. From Admin Panel, click on “Appearance” then “Themes”.
  2. Click on the “Customize” button for the already active “Beaver Builder Child Theme”.
You will receive the error message as follows:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 86 bytes) in /home/joshuacenter/public_html/joshuacenter.com/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 108

Once you email me I will send you a link with userid and password so you can sign in and try to recreate the issue.

I am currently using:
WordPress version 4.3.1
Beaver Builder Plugin (Pro Version) 1.6.4
Beaver Builder Child Theme 1.0
Server Type: MySQL - Server version: 5.5.42-cll-lve

I tried to do this in both Google Chrome Version 46.0.2490.71 m, and Firefox Version 41.0.2, and both received same error message.

Hey Joshua,

Welcome to the BB forums!

That error actually relates to how your hosting is placing a limit to the amount of memory you can use. In this case you’ve exceeded that limit. Go ahead and contact your hosting company and see if they can increase the memory limit a bit more.
