Unique IDs for Anchor links

Hi guys, I have an issue with a site I am finishing up the design on. The client wants to have anchor links setup on a row of icons that are located on specific pages but I am having a hard time coming up with a better way to do this than to manually create unique IDs for each item in the row, on each page, so each page has 4x different IDs, then times however many pages which is 4, so 16 IDs total. There has got to be an easier way to do this lol.

Here is a screencast I made to show you what I am talking about.

Let me know if you need further clarification!

Hey Alex,

I guess your anchors are on the Icon row? You can convert this to a Global row, then use it on the other pages. Unfortunately for now, we’ve a bug with having the same ID on two different pages. The user on the thread below is trying to achieve the same thing as you, and noticed the bug. There’s also a workaround on the same thread which you might want to check. And lastly, the bug has already been fixed on our end and will be available on the next maintenance patch.

Can you elaborate on this a bit more?

“I guess your anchors are on the Icon row? You can convert this to a Global row, then use it on the other pages.”

I am not sure I understand or follow you.

Got it figured out, all fixed! I used the global row and it cut down the number if ID’s I had to use, thank you so much!

Hi Alex,

Happy to hear your issue has been resolved and thanks for informing us.

Thanks,
Danny
