Hello, I’m using the Canvas theme by WooCommerce and when I click on the Page Builder tab to convert my Blog page to Beaver Builder nothing happens! Is this because I have my Blog page set as my posts page in the theme? On all my other pages I was able to select the Page Builder tab. Thank you for your help.
Also I had enabled the additional post types under the Settings but that still didn’t work!
I had also found an article by Carrie Dills about BB not working with the WordPress Archive page template? This might explain why my blog and Portfolio page can’t use the page builder since both use the archive page. Is there a way to get BB to work with the WordPress Archive template? Thank you!
I love this page builder btw!
Hey David,
This topic has already been discussed before. Feel free to check the threads below and let us know how it goes.

Hi KC, Ok gotcha regarding the Blog Page. Now for the single blog posts it’s still inheriting the layout of my theme. Do I have to go into each one of those blog posts and change the layout to match the Blog page?
Hey David,
I just wanted to chime in here. Our plugin simply overrides the native WP editor with our builder. So anywhere you can add content using the native WP editor, you can use BB instead. So the answer to your question would be yes.
That’s what themes are for, they generate the template for each post/page. You’ll have to edit the template file if you want to change the layout.
The guys love the idea of being able to change the archive pages’ layout using BB so they’re looking into implementing it(probably to the BB theme) but there’s no really timeline for that.
