Using third party shortcodes in Beaver Modules

Hi,

We use WooThemes Memberships Plugin to restrict content or show different content to different membergroups. We try to use their shortcodes within Beaver Modules. In the textmodules everything works fine. However, if we use a shortcode in link fields of a Beaver Module (i.e. buttons) the shortcode disappears and is not working. Our aim is to have different links within a button based on membership. With the shortcode we try to change the link based on the membership.

Any suggestions how to make this work?

Ben

Hey Ben,

Do you think you can share temp admin access to your site so we can play around with the WooThemes Memberships Plugin? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.

Thanks!

KC

Hi KC,

A temp acces will be difficult at this moment.
What we exactly do is the following:

Button Module:
In the link field we have: [wcm_restrict plans=“proplus-pas-compact”]https://www.liberclick.nl/proplus-zone/pro-effect-modules-compact/[/wcm_restrict] [wcm_restrict plans=“proplus-pas-basis”]https://www.liberclick.nl/proplus-zone/pro-effect-modules-basis/[/wcm_restrict]

After saving the field shows: [wcm_restrict plans=

Icon Module gives the same outcome.

We also tried to use an icon with link in the text module. We can get an icon in the textmodule…

Ben

Hey Ben,

I just wanted to chime in here. I don’t think that’s going to work. The shortcode simply hides content. Have you tried creating 2 buttons instead and wrapping them in those shortcodes via the HTML module?

Ben

Solved!
Many Thanks.

Awesome! Enjoy BB!
