Hi Guys
I read that you say that Yoast is compatible with BB, however, I specialise in organic on-page SEO and don’t agree.
I have copious amount of times where I have fullied the requirements of Yoast and yet Yoast won’t recognise the changes.
Clients are becoming very savvy with Yoast so they are expecting green lights and although I don’t follow Yoast to the letter the SEO part is obtainable, however not always recognised by Yoast.
In particular the use of H1 and H2 headings.
Any ideas?
Great builder we use it for all our clients with 10 other designers!
It depends on what green lights you are talking about.
We added support for the content analysis on the post/page edit area a while ago.
In relation to SEO.
When editing in BB to get a true SEO reading you need to go to dashboard.
Open the page in plain editor - hit up date then refresh and thats the true SEO reading. However, of course you then have to go back to the front open BB and save then the SEO reading in the back end changes from the reading in plain editor however I have figured out that the true reading is in plain editor meaning its not aligning perfectly with BB.
My clients are becomming pain in the asses as I sell SEO as a service so they know enough about Yoast themselves now they demand green SEO.
However I have to explain to them that they are not looking at the true reading.
I then have to demo oipening it in the plain editor and showing them in fact the SEO is fine.
Its about the only iusse I have come across with BB.
The rest of it works perfectly and its an editor I support on facebook pages when people are asking whats the best editor.
Im guessing the plain editor you are referring to is the wordpress page editor, if so yes that’s the only area that correctly shows the seo score.
We added code to integrate to yoast and rankmath for that page.
What other area are you talking about that shows the wrong score?
