white labeling for Agency Packages

Hello,

Beaver Builder signage and pop up notifications need to be removed or white labeled on my client websites/platforms. How that that be done globally?

thank you
lk

Hey Liz,

You should be able to by heading over to Settings > Page Builder > Branding on your Network admin.

Ben

Thanks Ben.

Under ‘Settings’>Branding: Our company name is already entered.

• The popup Beaver Builder still appears for editors/new users.

Can we edit this css in the
>Appearance, >Editor:

/*
Theme Name: Beaver Builder Child Theme
Theme URI: http://forum.wpbeaverbuilder.com
Version: 1.0
Description: An example child theme that can be used as a starting point for custom development.
Author: The Beaver Builder Team
Author URI: http://www.fastlinemedia.com
template: bb-theme
*/

/* Add your custom styles here… */

Hey Liz,

What popup do you mean? Re the child theme, yes you can edit those except the template part. The template is what makes it work.

Ben

Yes, Child theme. A popup for a BB tour appears when a new user logs in (Editor/Author).

Thank you

Hey Liz,

You can disable that under Settings > Page Builder > Help Button.

Ben

Sorry Ben, I want to be sure about what we can brand (with our BB Agency License) in this Appearance >Editor css. We will edit as follows:

/*
Theme Name: Our Company Brand Theme
Theme URI: http://www.ourcompany.com
Version: 1.0
Description: Custom-developed child theme
Author: Our Company
Author URI: Our Company web address
template: bb-theme
*/

/* Add your custom styles here… */

Description: Custom-developed child theme
Author: Our Company
Author URI: Our Company web address
template: bb-theme
*/

/* Add your custom styles here… */

Thank you
Liz

Hey Liz,

That should be fine. :slight_smile:

Ben

Ben,

I branded the Appearance >Editor but the BB Branding still appears in the Right sidebar and when clicked BB authorship and copyright appears with a warning not to alter “WARNING! DO NOT EDIT THEME FILES IF YOU PLAN ON UPDATING!”

Hi Liz,

You won’t want to edit the parent theme at all. If you make changes to the parent theme, they will get overwritten when you update! That said, it’s not possible to white label the parent theme and still have access to updates. I am sorry.

You could look into other options. If you’re delivering the site to a client, you could look into customizing the admin area for that client so they can’t see/access the themes section?

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Robby,

We didn’t use a “BB Theme”- we used a blank page and used BB plugins to match our custom design. It’s our template design but now it has a BB copyright? The client will have admin access so it appears that the design was stock?

Actually, we won’t use any of the BB templates for this website or BB page layouts. Is there a way i can turn off that function? We don’t want the templates to display.

thank you
Liz

Robby,

Sorry- I meant to say 'Themes" rather than templates.

We won’t use any ‘BB Themes’ and don’t want them to display.

liz

Liz, to clarify, there are two pieces to the Beaver Builder system: the theme and the page builder plugin.

All of the code you referenced above is from the Beaver Builder Theme, and there is no way to white label the Beaver Builder theme.

Regarding the copyright, thanks for the heads up. At one point, the theme wasn’t licensed under the GPL. Now that it is, we’ll go ahead and remove the copyright. Keep an eye peeled for that in a future update.

Thank you.
Liz

Robby,

All things considered, I would like to downsize to the Pro Version. My interest in the Agency version was the white labeling.

Please issue a credit.

I will be able to use my PRO version on various servers. Is that correct or did I misunderstand that as well?

thanks for your time.
Liz
