Why are some margin and padding settings shadowed ?

Hi there,

I’m wondering why this is so ?
For example, I create a new full width row, with 2 x columns.
Place two call to action’s in the 2 x columns - place a border around them.
But the common border is touching - so I go to change the padding, but it is not editable!
I must be missing something obvious here…
This is just playing to learn BB, so no URl - just on my local WAMP server using the BB theme.

Hey Dave,

I believe I know what you mean as I like to do bordered columns quite often. :slight_smile: You’ll actually need to use the margins in the column settings to give them some breathing room. You can access that by clicking on the icon that resembles a book > advanced > left/right margins. Hope that helps!

Hey Dave,

Just saw that in the post subject, you mention some options being disabled? If that is the case, something isn’t right there. Have you tried disabling all plugins and testing BB to see if it works as it should?

Most odd, after I started up my computer this morning, I can now edit those values.
No plugins installed - a fresh installation, just BB plugin and BB theme.
If I can reproduce it, I will get back to you…
