Woocommerce layout in Beaver Theme

Hi

I am transferring one of my shops from Woothemes Canvas over to BB and the Automator Theme. So far really easy. I have hit up with a layout problem on the single image page. My issue is with the positioning of the Related products heading as you will see from this screenshothttps://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5490135/Screenshot%202014-12-29%2013.59.12.png
its over to the right rather than below the product images.

I thought a simple fix was to resize the product image so I have tried this several times in the Woocommerce settings and then regenerated the thumbnails. but this has not had much effect and I don’t really want to make the images any smaller.

Is there a way I can move the heading with css?

Many thanks

Jo

Hey Jo,

Thanks for getting in touch! Is that page you are working on a WooCommerce page that can be installed when adding WooCommerce? Or is it a page you created directly? Let me know when you get a chance and we can go from there!

Best,
Billy

Thanks for the quick reply Billy!

Its a normal woo commerce product page. I have been playing around and if I add content to the longer description box it fixes itself. This is an obvious workaround, but I wondered if there was anything I could do without the second description area.

Thanks

Jo

Hi Jo,

The WooCommerce pages are tricky with BB as Woo inserts their own HTML that BB doesn’t have the capability to override. Have you tried creating your product pages just using BB? That would be your best bet or check in with Woo on a possible bug on their product pages.

Billy

Jo,

Another few options would be to use some custom CSS to play around a bit moving things around. We can’t support that in this forum unfortunately, but an option if you want to give it a shot. Also, what about just adding an HTML non-breaking space in the second description? I wonder if that would fix this up for you as it would be invisible content in that field.

Billy
