wondering about the possibility of sharing templates/modules across a multisite network
not sure if possible now - seems like wouldn’t be too far of a stretch - however I do see some complications for sharing ‘global’ mods and those should not be shareable
please advise

On the Agency version, you can override the core layout templates. Check the blog entry below, specifically the Agency Members: White Label the Template Selector part.

Re Global Templates, you can set a capability prerequisite before users are able to edit it. This can be changed under Settings > Page Builder > Editing > Global Templates Editing Capability.
