@justin, Yes on the full height row option and with IE11 (both the recent version one on my laptop and an older version of IE 11 that is installed in my Stylizer CSS editor). Looks like the modules, whatever they contain, vertically centre except, on IE.
Hope it’s just an oddity my end. I disabled all theme styling and tried colour and photo backgrounds. I also create a new page and added new text in a one column module. That then sent the text that was left aligned and centred in Chrome and FireFox to the top right in IE11.
Hope its not a wild goose chase - sorry I not had the chance to try on another install. BTW I did not mean the other comment to be private.
I’ve updated to the latest beta, and the color picker isn’t working in chrome now. I can confirm that it does work in incognito mode. I have disabled all extensions in chrome just to be sure and still no luck.
Have not tried myself it yet but since it works in incognito mode, I would recomend deleting your browser’s cache (coookies, history etc), and then try it again.
But hey! I’m just another BB user!
I’m just sharing my solution to some similar problems that did resolved on deleting my browsers cache.
By the way, are you using W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache?
I’m asking this because I SUSPECT most of my problems were caused by W3 Total Cache…
I’m just trying to figure out if there’s a connection…
If you select a background color for a column and save it, you can no longer “disable” the background color itself. You can only choose another background color.
Trying to disable a background color will have no effect whatsoever, it will only show the previously used color.
I ran into issues like that this morning. Claudio suggested clearing browser cache which fixed a lot of those issues I was having. Maybe give that a try. Callouts are updating for me in real time.
Yea, the issue might be that the version number is appended to the CSS/JS assets, but it’s not changing when you update the beta so the cache isn’t being flushed. That tells me that we need a better beta version system
I’ll be looking into that for the next beta and hopefully getting a beta updater out at some point in the future.
Thanks again everyone for testing! We really appreciate it!
I noticed a couple of things today with the color picker (latest beta).
Firstly I went to add a color to the presets and it didn’t save it again.
Went back again and carefully went through the procedure - got the message it had been saved, but when I went somewhere else to select it, it was not there.
I think it might be because I was going somewhere where a color was all ready set.
So I tried again , but this time I changed the color temporarily, put it back to the original color and it saved OK
The second thing I noticed was if I tried to change the color hex code manually, it is almost impossible to edit - it jumps around and entered multiple character and all sorts of weird effects ? Not sure if it was just me - I’m on Chrome/Windows-7
I can reproduce this here, by clicking the color picker so it pops up - click at the end of the hex value - try to backspace over the characters and it then displays what I described.
Cheers, Dave
I am testing the beta version on a fresh site I’m developing and have found a problem with the fixed height columns when used in a globally saved row.
The height is not fixing globally - only on the homepage row but not on the others pages where I used the global row - I was wondering if you have noticed this issue too?
