Local Translation not showing in site

Hi,

I have been reading about that there should not be a need to change placeholder labels for the subscription form via a function, since there are translations available in the Beaver.
How ever in my website those do not seem to work. My site settings are in Dutch, and still the placeholders for the subscription forms are in English.

I had a look at this tread

I applied it, and only could get to the ‘Email Address’ to change.

But as remarked in all the translation related posted: "why not just use the build in translation? " I would like that, but I can’t seem to figure out why it is not working.
Maybe because it is Beaver Builder in the shape of an agency version (VamTam)?

The site is here: https://staging19.domesticarotterdam.nl/

All suggestions are very welcome!

Hi, just tested BB Contact Form module in a french site, the placeholders properly show up in french.

I checked the dutch translation file, it looks like the « Email adress » string is translated: should be « E-mailadres », right?
So i guess there could be a problem with your install.

Also, did you try to customize the placeholders in the module’s settings frontend UI, there are editable fields for that?
