What can I do to overcome this problem and update to 1.6.4.1?
It’s quite possible the error was just a fluke. Have you tried running the update again? Also, are you having this same problem when updating other plugins? You may not have read/write access to that folder. Lastly, if all else fail, you can deactivate the plugin, delete it, download the latest version on your accounts page, and install it.
I have used the MORE insertion in posts when NOT using WPBB and it works fine. It gives me the option to show an abbreviated top of page on POSTS summary page.
In WPBB I have inserted the MORE Insertion while in ONE TEXT block on the page and it does not appear to work insofar as presenting a summary at top of the POSTS Summary page.
See: http://www.skyboroughshow.com/posts-intro/ the Course #4 at the top has a MORE Insertion in the text which should deliver the same result as the COURSE #2 (just below it) which has a “Continue Reading” which is what WP normally does. Also, when I insert MORE while in WPBB and return to the page in WPBB the MORE word and dotted line does NOT show.
Am I not using or inserting the MORE Insertion properly??? Should it go in its own row??? Or something else or does it not work in WPBB???

Went looking for my question in the forum, found a couple but couldn’t see the answer, anyway, what I wanted to know was can you add extra text fields in the contact module besides name, email & message. Is it also possible to add the required *asterisk next to the required field

Unfortunately, that’s not currently possible. We do have those as feature requests on our User Voice Forums so feel free to vote for them. In the meantime, you could try a more robust form plugin like Ninja Forms or Formidable Forms.
I have just lost my whole website and so uploaded a fresh install of wordpress. Ive bought the standard beaver plugin - but cant get further than that.
Uploading the zip file to wordpress site i get :are you sure you want to do that’ screen - but then no options to go from there.
I have tried uploading via FTP - then I cant activate the plugin as critical errors with a file - also get a number of failed transfers. Files seems in grow in size once uploaded to site ( when compared with original files).
Can you help me to upload Beaver builder to my site?
I think you are missing how to do this. From within WordPress you ADD NEW plugin and point to your zip file. WordPress will install the plugin (BeaverBuilder) automatically for you. No need for your FTP’ing it.

Recently I taken over my site that was developed BB Lite, so I’m new to Wrdpress and BB. I replaced BB Lite with BB Standard. In the end I still get the message that “This page requires BB …” but in Plugins BB is shown as Active. I can still open a page in BB but it wont let me edit it. All the edit icons seem to be disabled. What have I done and how can I fix it??
I just purchased the standard version and installed the plugin. However, I can’t figure out how to utilize one of the supplied themes, namely minim. Where and how do I install or obtain it?
That is a layout template that comes with the plugin. Simply edit a page and use the Page Builder. You’ll notice a Template button on the top right bar. Just click that and browse through the templates.
Thanks for getting in touch! Firstly, have you made sure to deactivate and delete the Lite version before uploading the Pro zips by chance? If not, give that a shot to see how it goes. If you still get that error, you’ll most likely need to contact your hosting company to increase your allowable upload limit. Let us know how either or one of those goes for you!
